CLASS DESCRIPTION

At Fly High Dance and Fitness every body is unique - we are not a one size fit all fitness studio. Our curriculum has been thoughtfully created for small groups and require pre-registration so our instructors can safely address each member.



Pole Fitness Beginner:
Looking for a fun way to start getting into shape? Then this super beginner's class is for you! In this class you will learn the fundamentals for pole dancing which are basic spins, walking around the pole, and dance moves to get you ready for our beginner's level  class. We recommend you take at least four classes before moving to the beginner's level. 
Attire: sports bra, tank top, shorts (no necessary), leggings .
No zippers, metals, jewelry watches, or metal hair clips.                 

Pole Fitness Intermediate Level:

For students who have taken at least four Intro to Pole Fitness classes. In this class you will learn how to spin, climb the pole, beginner pole tricks, and end with a short choreography routine. This class will also incorporate some cardio, flexibility, and strength training to prepare you for inversions and to move on to our intermediate level class.

Attire: Sports bra, tank top, shorts (you will need skin to be exposed on the legs and upper inner thigh for climbing and pole sits). No zippers, metals, jewelery, watches, or metal hair clips.

Pole Fitness Open Level:
Open members only and student who have taken at least 3-4 beginner's level classes. This 60 minutes included a 10-15 minutes warm-up then student may work on improving what they have learned in either the beginner or intermediate class.  
Attire: No zippers, metals, jewelry, watches, or metal hair clips. ​​


Group Training Cardio & Strength:  This 45 minutes session focus on cardio and strength with the use of TRX, boxing bag, weights. It provides the same benefits as training one-to-one with a trainer but at a fraction of the normal price. It allows you to surround yourself with like-minded people such as your friends or workout buddies; also make new friends that have the same goals which can motivate you and benefit your social well-being. You get the benefit of a one-to-one training in a supportive atmosphere with an exercise program tailored to your fitness level.  **SO BRING A FRIEND OR TWO AND HAVE A BLAST WITH YOUR WORKOUT! **
Attire: Tank top, T-shirt, leggings, sweat pants shorts, and sneakers. BRING WATER!


Personal Training (private one-to-one)

  • Personal Training Services: are available for all ages and fitness level. Sessions are either 30 or 60 minutes and is customized for your fitness level and specific fitness goal.

Private & Semi- Private Sessions:

KIDS & TEENS CLASSES 

Fly High Kids (Ages 7-10) 
This class is open to ages 7-10. In this hour class, your child will be introduced to fun and exciting form of exercise. Following a thorough warm-up to increase their strength, flexibility, and body awareness. They will soar to new heights with tricks and poses both inside and outside the hammock. 

 Attire for Aerial Classes: We encourage students to wear snug fitted pants or leggings that covers the back of their knees and shirt that covers the armpits and torso areas. No zippers, metals, jewelry, watches, or metal hair clips. ​​ 

Teen Aerial (Ages 11-13)

This class is open to ages 11-13. In this hour class, your child will be introduced to fun and exciting form of exercise. Following a thorough warm-up to increase their strength, flexibility, and body awareness. This class will incorporate a choreograph routine using the hammock.

Attire for Aerial Classes: We encourage students to wear snug fitted pants or leggings that covers the back of their knees and shirt that covers the armpits and torso areas. No zippers, metals, jewelry, watches, or metal hair clips. ​​


ADULT CLASSES: 

Class are ages 14 & Up (Anyone under the age of 18 require parent/guardian signature)


Aerial Hammock Beginner:

Let your Yoga fly! This class is appropriate for clients that are new to Aerial Hammock. It offers a non-impact and safe form of exercise that allows you to feel weightless and free as you transition into yoga poses. Learn how to balance, swing, and take your flexibility off the ground.

Attire for Aerial Classes: We encourage students to wear snug fitted pants or leggings that covers the back of their knees and shirt that covers the armpits and torso areas. No zippers, metals, jewelry, watches, or metal hair clips. ​​

Aerial Hammock Intermediate:

This is an intermediate level class. It focus on creating a beautiful aerial dance with poses and tricks inside as well as outside the aerial hammock; as you take your performance in the air and gain strength and flexibility.

Student must have instructor's permission to participate in this class. We encourage you take at least 4-5 Aerial Hammock Yoga classes to learn the fundamentals prior to registering for this class.

Aerial Hammock Open Level

Aerial Pilates Core & Stretch: 

This class is specially designed to enhance your core, flexibility and strength with the use of the hammock by focusing on lengthen and strengthen the muscles with Yoga and Pilates moves and props to help you master the Aerial and Pole moves.
